We exclusively use FSC-certified and CE-marked premium-grade MDF, such as Medite Premier. This is a high-density, industrial substrate chosen for its consistency and smooth surface. Unlike standard "bargain" boards, it provides a stable core for machining and a superior finish for painting once sealed.

Sealing & Decorating
Sealing & Decorating
While not strictly required for basic crafting, we highly recommend sealing your MDF to achieve a professional, long-lasting finish. Sealing the surface—and especially the absorbent edges—with a diluted PVA glue (50/50 mix) or a dedicated MDF primer prevents the paint from soaking into the fibers.
Best Results:
- Paint: Our shapes are compatible with most furniture paints, emulsions, and acrylic sprays. For the most vibrant results, we recommend high-quality acrylics.
- Technique: Use a foam brush or roller for an even, streak-free application.
- The Secret: For a glass-smooth finish, lightly sand between coats using a fine 240-grit sandpaper (or higher).

Every order is CNC cut to order right here in our UK workshop. We don't ship "off the shelf" mass-produced items; we cut your items specifically for you.
- Production Time: We aim to dispatch all orders within 2 working days.
- Tracked Delivery: We ship via a tracked delivery service to ensure your order is handled with care and is easily traceable from our workshop to your door.
- Sustainability & Packaging: We use reinforced packaging to ensure your shapes arrive crisp and sharp. We are committed to reducing waste; we use new cardboard boxes for strength, but nearly all our internal protective infill is recycled cardboard that we matte and shred in-house.

Every piece is precision-crafted right here in our Salisbury workshop using premium 25mm Moisture-Resistant (MR) MDF—the professional trade gold standard. Highly stable and engineered to withstand real-life environments, it completely resists ambient moisture and seasonal humidity (making it perfect for damp kitchens, bathrooms, or utility rooms) and will never warp, cup, or split like standard timber or cheap MDF alternatives.
Material Stock Note: Depending on our workshop timber supply, we use either Medite MR (brown face with a green core) or ATI MR (solid green core). Both options share identical premium, trade-only specifications and paint up exactly the same.
Master Craftsmanship Details
- Smooth Profile Detailing: We finish every bracket assembly with a flawless micro-round edge across all front-facing profiles of the backplate and the main brace. This vital detail removes sharp corners and creates an incredibly elegant, high-end look.
- Invisible Structural Joins: Built to handle heavy-duty real-life weights, our brackets are constructed using industrial-strength wood adhesive alongside hidden internal mechanical fixings. The joinery remains completely invisible, giving you clean lines combined with massive rigidity.
Pre-Drilled & Ready to Fit
- Pre-Drilled Backplates: Each unit features 3 pre-drilled, countersunk mounting holes located directly on the backplate to streamline your installation. (If you prefer a clean backplate with no pre-drilled holes, simply drop us a note with your checkout order).
- Concealing Plugs Included: Your order is supplied with wooden end-grain mushroom plugs to cleanly cover, flush-fill, and mask your installation screws.
- Fitter’s Trade Tip: When installing, use a long screwdriver or an extended driver bit to reach the mounting holes easily without rubbing against or marking the decorative profile edges.
- Please Note: Wall fixings are not supplied. Because different wall types require specific hardware (brick, plasterboard, etc.), please ensure you source correct screws and rawlplugs for your specific project wall.
Pre-Sanded for Effortless DIY Painting
Standard MDF behaves like a sponge and goes fuzzy when painted, adding hours to your sanding prep. Our ultra-dense MR MDF arrives at your door completely unpainted and pre-sanded, saving you massive prep time.
- For a Smooth Finish: We recommend applying a quality MDF primer first, followed by your chosen topcoat paint. Once your primer coat is dry, give it a quick, light rub down to knock back any minor fluffing before applying your final flawless finish coat.

- Small: 150mm Deep x 175mm High x 75mm Wide

All measurements are based on the longest dimension of the shape, whether that is the height (top to bottom) or the width (left to right). If you are unsure which dimension is the longest for a specific shape, please Contact Us before ordering to ensure it fits your project.

Our Cutting Process
We use two different professional methods to create your shapes depending on the design and size:
- CNC Routed: For larger or thicker shapes, we use high-speed CNC Routers. These produce a crisp, "mechanical" cut with no burnt edges. The edges will be raw MDF, ready for sealing and painting.
- Laser Cut: For smaller or highly intricate designs, we use precision Laser Cutting. This process leaves a clean, medium-brown finish on the edges. Any slight surface marks from the laser can be easily removed with a light sand or simply painted over.
Both methods provide industrial-grade accuracy and a workshop-quality finish.
